The Book of Acts tells us of these “acts” of The First Catholic Pope:

May all be blessed to see how important it is to see and obey Every Word of Jesus.

Question 1:  “What ‘acts’ of The First Catholic Pope are mentioned in The Bible’s Book of Acts?”

Answer:  “This ‘act’ is clear in Acts 3:13-19.  ‘Peter said to the people:  ‘The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our Fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus, Whom you handed over and denied in Pilate’s presence when he had decided to release Him.  You denied the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.’

~

Question 2:  “Did Peter know they made the worst mistake since Eve and Adam had ‘denied’ God and ‘ate the forbidden fruit’?”

Answer:  “Peter knew that Jesus was The Second Person of The Holy Trinity when he explained:  ‘The Author of Life you put to death, but God has raised Him from the dead, of this we are witnesses.’

~

Question 3:  “Why did Peter call Jesus ‘The Author of Life’?”

Answer:  “‘Authors’ write books with words’The Creation Program was written with ‘words’ from God. Computers help us understand that ‘The Author’ had ‘downloaded’ living things into being with His Words.  ‘Universe’ is a pre-computer description of The Creation Program God ‘downloaded’ to sustain life.

We know Jesus is ‘The Author of Life’ because He Downloaded (or, ‘Uploaded’!) The Catholic Church Into Being to give His beloved Human Programs This ‘Life-saving Word’ from God:  ‘Life must be protected from conception until natural death.’

~

Question 4:  “Is Jesus telling us that ‘The Author of Life’ let Himself be put to ‘death’ by those who loved worldly interests more than they loved God and their neighbors?”

Answer:  “The First Catholic Pope is very clear about that!  ‘The Author of Life you put to death,’

~

Question 5:  “What happened to Jesus after they ‘put Jesus to death’?”

Answer:  “The Resurrection Miracle!  ‘but God raised Him from the dead;  of this we are witnesses.’

~

Question 6:  “Did The First Pope tell us why they ‘put The Author of Life to death’?”

Answer:  “‘Now I know, brothers, that you acted out of ignorance, just as your leaders did;  but God has thus brought to fulfillment what He had announced beforehand through the mouth of all the prophets;  that His Christ would suffer.’

~

Question 7:  “Did The First Pope tell us how we could escape punishment for denying Words from ‘The Author of Life’?”

Answer:  “He tells us to be Catholic!  ‘Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away.’

~

Question 8:  “Do we have to be Catholic to have ‘our sins be wiped away’?”

Answer:  “Jesus specifically gave His Catholic priests the power He gave to no one else.   John 20:23 is very clear:  ‘Those whose sins you forgive on earth are forgiven in Heaven.’

For 2,000 years, Catholic priests have been Ordained as “living links” who connect us with The First Pope and Catholic Bishops.  Jesus Christ ordains them to sustain The Only Church He Spoke Into Being with His Church-Creating Word:

“And I say unto you thou art Peter and on this rock I build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  I give you the keys to The Kingdom of Heaven.”

As Today’s Psalm urges us to ask:  ‘”Lord, let Your Face shine on us.’

~

Question 9:  “Is there any Word in Today’s Reading that helps Catholics obey Jesus?”

Answer:  “1 John:  2:1-5 includes this frightening Word from Christ’s ‘most beloved’ Catholic Bishop:

‘The way we may be sure that we know Him is to keep His commandments.  Those who say, “I know Him,” but do not keep His commandments are liars, and the truth is not in them.  But whoever keeps His word, the love of God is truly perfected in him.’

That is a ‘simple reason to be Catholic.’
